WCFLAMS Hosted the Broadcast Meteorologist Panel of Specialists in collaboration with the University of South Florida and the National Weather Service. The panel included a core of television meteorologists from across the Tampa Bay region. The Designated Market Area (DMA) of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, FL ranks 15th in the United States for television broadcasting.
